You said same symptoms as thread starter, does that mean you have sound but no image?

See the white sticker on the powerboard? what is the set of numbers to the right? or just write them all here.

          White label is..

          SH150314111314
          5510FB 81-PBE055-H08

I don't have any audio as I can't select an input other than turning it on and off by either the remote or buttons on set.

Ok, what I would do, there's probably more efficient methods but I'm no expert: Unplug all connectors from powerboard including power cord, best policy is to use a resistor prolly 1k ohm or a little less to carefully jumper pwon pin with stby pin, then plug in power cord and carefully test all the pins on all connectors, just test the pins don't hook any of the cables up, report what you get, black - meter probe on metal chassis ground, report voltages minus grounds.

                  Sorry for the delay
Voltages on the connector pins are all 5.3
Voltages on the capacitors read 5.3, 12.3 and 56.6

If there's a problem with one of your readings I don't see it, hook all the boards back up, turn tv on, on the ld driver board, connector PD1, check the voltage on pin 3, that's with the cable on, so you need to contact the metal part of the top of the connector, report the voltage.

Voltage in pin 3 of that connector seems to be floating around from 3.0 to 5.2 volts...not stable at all.

Yes the background light is steady. Also, I see that the 3 wire cable goes to the main board, which has been replaced in the beginning.

                              Going to bed for now...

Not positive but that doesn't seem right, wonder why it is fluctuating.

Don't know if the voltage is generated by the LED Driver board or Main Board

That is the bl-on pin and you do have backlights, just not sure if it's suppose to be steady or not.

I'm certainly not that savvy to know what the Bl-on means except to extrapolate that it means backlight on. And with the fluctuating voltage found here, I would imagine that it should be a solid "high or low". but it's not. I had previously replaced the Main board and realized no change so maybe that means the LED Driver board is bad. Unless someone had additional knowledge, I guess I'll find a replacement LED Driver board and go from there. I wished I could have a place that had all the modules in a kit form but all I have found is that they are sold out.

Thanks for all your help NoMoreSony and I'll just continue on.

I'll be watching, hopefully you can solve this puzzle, youtube has a lot of fixit videos too, I learned a lot there but my memory is shot, it fell right out of my head

I know what you mean. I was an TV Broadcast engineer and used to repair LED monitors and such. This one has me stumped. Now I forgotten more than I learned! Lol
Hopefully Someone has some more ideas. One did mention to check the fuse on the T-con board but can't find it.
                                          Thanks again.

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

                                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                                            - it keeps rebooting
                                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

                                            Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a Toshiba 37AV500A Regza TV.

                                            The issue:
TV was working picture and sound went out. Green stand by light stayed on, It will respond to the power button being pressed (goes in and out of standby)
The TV will very intermittently work for around 40 mins then stop. This doesn't seem to matter if its hot/cold unplugged for a while etc.

I checked the PSU voltages and everything looked good.
No bulging caps or signs of heat.

                                            24v aud = 24.41v
                                            12v = 11.98v
                                            5v = 5.062
                                            p_o/f = Goes high...

                                            Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

                                            Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

                                            Symptom:
                                            No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
                                            No sound at all.

                                            What I tried:
                                            1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...
