You cant do the NVM firmware download via usb on these so you will need an Spi flash reader to read the data off your working board to reflash it onto the old one.

Re: Techwood 32884HD flashing blue orange

hi guys, just joined this site, but reading this thread with interest as i have the same set with the same problem ! blue and orange flashing from power up. so it was the main board in the end ? i noticed on mine the blue led flashes on its own dimly for about 5 sec before it goes to both flashing faster. if thats of any significance? ive watched mr reeceyburger's videos on re-flashing the firmware via usb, tho think this was for an mb82 ? thought id gave it a shot as the set dont work anyways ? couldnt find the firmware for this exact set, so tried a couple for this board just to see if it would load anything ? the usb flashes for a few seconds, but then goes off when both leds flash. sadly i cant get it to boot by freezing it either. the exact board for this set on ebay is about £30, with people selling working sets on facebook locally for around this price, thats not really an option. i can get a "17mb62" for another set for about £8. was wondering if i could flash the firmware for the techwood on to it ? (if i can find it?) i know the tuner might not work, but i only want the set as a pc monitor in my bedroom, and maybe a sky box via scart/hdmi. thoughts anyone ?

can you get a 17mb62 that matches the lcd panel used in your tv? that way i would hope that atleast the picture wont be upside down like we see a lot with the wrong mainboards fitted.

well any sort of picture on it would be a plus at the moment lol. at least id know where the problem was ? was given the set for free and its in great cosmetic condition. board i saw on ebay was from same model set, tho have to check the other codes to, but really at £30, someone local was selling a working toshiba 40" for £40 so is it worth the effort ?
