OK I did not know if that the reading of just one +pin or all 4 +pins.
The result is telling us that when all connectors are in the place, the one with reading of 325V is not seeing the load so the Voltage is same with and without the connectors (Loads) in place, as you can see when the loads (connectors removed) are not connected to the other 3 output Voltage of all three went up high.

        Re: Samsung UN40D6400 led problem

It confirms that the fault is with the leds and not led driver circuit.

Ok so both strips are bad at exactly the same spot.
I looked for the led strips, considering the price for both and that I paid $50 it's not worth it to buy led strips and fix it.
It's more logical to sell the board.

if i am in your place would not buy strips, just replace dead LEDs,
CH1 bad from the test you did, follow it wiring to side strips and check Leds on

you have 72 Leds on side, / 2 make 36 on CH1, and CH1 had 3 groups mean 36/3 make 12, from this 12 you have one Open or more. they are not hard to replace at all.

              Re: Samsung UN40D6400 led problem

There was a discussion on this board within the last few weeks about cheap LEDs being purchase directly from China at a very low price. I'll see if I can locate the thread.

It looks like one solid piece of aluminum with the LEDs on it. No breaks anywhere.

No, you have screw first to move , then the Strip should pushed to outside forward to the socket direction, the Alu of the strip had an hole being in pin of the base, by pushing it to the direction of socket the hole and the pin will be in center to left it out

I see the screws but I searched for the LEDs by the number on the led strip themselves. The only ones I found are in that link.

on my post above the replacements of the LED Module.

you have total 72 LEDs, does not matter which LED power on or not, just with your measure netter Diode option check one by one, and evry one open or had less Ohm at reading than 750 mark it and replace it. same things if there shorted one

How do I replace individual LEDs on this thing? It's beyond my skill level.

this kind of strip very easy to replace all in one hours lol

Leds of one Group if you took one by broken it, and with shaving plate clean the bed on the line to next led, and put solder, set the LED in place and just heat the solder between the lEDs they will be tight on boards.

                                  hand soldering not air

You need to use hot air IMO hand soldering simply melts the led even if your careful.

you are wrong. cause the soldering will be heat between leds not direct on led pin.

I tested the LEDs with my meter. 18 LEDs on each strip don't lite but 36 if them, when tested with my meter set like this show a number. The rest are all 0.L

I don't think I can solder them. And I don't have a hot air machine.
