    Samsung UN29EH4000 PS troubleshooting

Hi guys, this is my first post but I've been here many times for information. So I bought this 29" Samsung on CL $10. Did all the preliminary stuff and found that the backlights wont come on. Remote works, have sound and can see the picture image using the flashlight test. Ah , good so far. So I disco'd the main board, and the backlights just flash once when plugged in. I gather its either the PS or the LEDS. So before I take this thing fully apart to test the leds, can someone tell me what voltages I should be getting at the LED connection on the PS. Attached is the PS top and bottom. Your help is greatly appreciated.

More likely the LED's. What do you get on DCV on each string? Does it ramp up then off?

If I'm doing it right, I only get +100 on pins -11 and +12. Reads 230V.

Per chart as printed on the power supply-LED driver board, the LED Voltage is 113V, so the Boost converter is working but your LED circuit has open circuit.

So is the open circuit on the PS board or in the led string of lights. Just so I know which one to tackle.

In the Led lights, so you will need to take the whole panel apart.

So I carefully took the panel apart and found one led had burned and came off one of the strips. I already ordered a new strip and hope this solves my problem. Will update in a few days. Thanks for the help.

I received my new LED strip today and that solved the problem. TV is good to go. Thanks for the advice and hopefully I can help someone else.
