Y-drive is shorted then. I'd test across the Y-drive on ohms mode (with it disconnected from the power board) and see what you get to confirm but this seems to indicate that the Y-drive has failed. It's a reasonably common failure (of the few failures this set has.)

Remember to get the 60" board. The 50" board won't work correctly, without significant modifications.

Nice easy fix there You might not need a new board if you know how to change a few IGBTS but up to you.

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up

I have measured the transistor and i have only find one faulty,
the one of the right near the ANP-2214-B number D2417
Is it possible that this is the only one that is faulty or could there be more, i tested them all and only this one is shorted

Take it out of circuit and test it again see if its shorted, then throughly test the others buddy. Normally on sus boards its on transistors that fail.

Hang on thats a diode and it has low ohm resistors across it so its probably not failed but still best just to check mate.

Otherwise i will do the board to the local tv shop to test it out, i have not that much electronic knowledge to repair up to components.

What should i do with the other tv with the blue/yellow line in, should it be a easy fix or could it be something else than just a bad connection ? The guy ask 250 euro for the tv.

Is it a Kuro? Blue/yellow line is most likely a panel fault and therefore not repairable. Though that is very rare on Kuro sets.

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up

The most likely candidates for failure will be the two transistors mounted on each of the three heatsinks on the left hand side of the board (as installed in the TV, looking from the back.) These are the sustain path transistors. There is a big ~220V electrolytic (brown can) capacitor and poly (green) capacitor mounted near each.

Tom its also a lx6090. Here a picture of the line in the other tv. Its around 20cm high and 3 cm wide.
Ok will check the 3 transistors again and thanks guys for that good supporting to find the fault :-)

Definitely panel, avoid (unless you need the parts)
I wouldn't pay more than £50 for that in that state. It would just ultimately get stripped down...

Checked the 6 transistors once again but these are ok, all have the same values, the only one that was different is that one on the left corner on the picture, that measures on the 3 pins short and the multimeter kept bieping while measured the others only a small biep or nothing when measured in other direction

Tom I had a panny with a small line out like that was a 3d one very nice Tv was told its not fixable was just a lose ribbon going to that part of the PDP. But still dont pay more than €50 for it as not worth the risk.

Take it out of circuit and test it then just to be sure.

Yes, put it on about 380d then low speed setting heat for a little while then pick it up with some pliyers.

That could be the case if the bar was as wide as one of the driver chips but the drivers cover 1/16th of the panel each, and this line is much smaller, so most likely it is a panel fault.
It is possible it is not, but in my opinion, not a great risk to take.

I have gone with the circuit board to the local tv shop and the expert measured the board and told me what i thought that was wrong, the transistor near the ANP2214 text in the corner.
Where can i find a replacement for this ? The text on it is 05165.

Samsung plasma - flashing standby light
                                            by 7ony
The TV is a 2013 Samsung plasma, model # PN60F5300AFXZA.

Snagged it up in non-working condition a couple years ago. Previous owner said that sometimes he could get it to come on after repeated tries but other than that he couldn't get it to turn on.

Personally I haven't been able to get it to turn on at all. The standby light comes on solid when plugged in, but pressing the power button results in the standby light flashing once every 4 or so seconds. No "click" noises, no light from the panel at all. Just the flashing standby light.

                                            No visible...

Samsung UE43KU6400U Flashing Red Standby Light
                                            by Bloopeta
Have a Samsung UE43KU6400U that will not turn on, just continuous flashing red standby light.
                                            Power button does nothing

Have unplugged the mainboard, and backlights illuminate.
Have tried removing panel ribbon cables one at a time, and that makes no change.

With mainboard unplugged, all voltages from powerboard seem ok, but with mainboard connected, they never quite reach full voltage, and drop and raise in a constant loop (in time with click noise from mainboard.

Using backlight tester, I get 63.6v on both sides, so seems like no bulbs...

Samsung UN55D6000FXZA - Won't stay on, standby light flashing rapidly
                                            by fuxxy
This is a set I posted about a few years ago. Replaced LED strips and worked fine until now.

Plug the set in, and it will turn on and functions with no issues.

After a while, (sometimes hours, sometimes minutes, sometimes immediately) the tv shuts off. When I approach the TV I notice the standby light is flashing rapidly, but the pulse of each flash is not long enough to notice from afar.

Other than the standby light, the unit is completely unresponsive until the power is removed and reapplied, then the cycle starts over. It does appear that the time it takes...

                                            Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...

                                            Hello everyone.

This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released...
