SAMSUNG UE32EH4003W Restarting

Hi guys
got this tv today which it keeps restarting voltages on the power supply are good and if i disconnect power to main board the backlights come on and stays on no restarting,so im gathering the main board is faulty and wondering if it might need a eeprom reset ?

You can always try and reset the eeprom. Did you check the main board model nr on shop jimmy? Some main boards from samsung have a repair kit that fixes the same symptoms. ( IC on back of the main board ).

how can i perform a reset of the eeprom ? and no i cant find any repair kits

Tried the following:
Join VCC and SDA, power on TV and hold about for 20 seconds with the TV powered
but no luck so looks like ill order a main board

Lee Have you tried pulling the ribbon to the panel to see if its a panel fault, with these sets with no T,Con, any problems with the LCD drivers or tabs you will sometimes see the main board pull down PS on +BL on ? This goes for Samsung and LG sets without T.Cons or built into main board type setups

I'm not sure all I get is the Samsung logo then nothing else and every twenty seconds the TVs just reboots

Had same type of thing with an 3D 47"LG set last week, screen on for few seconds then off and repeat, as luck had it I had a main board out of a 42"and that fitted. That was a non T.Con main board set as well.

Update:bit late updating

mainboard replaced all working again

Sweet That model has issues with firmware I did the 40" version and it was the firmware causing it to reboot.
