Hello!
I just got a Samsung TV model HG75EJ690UB 75" and 4K
. It is a hotel TV, with a slightly different version of the Tizen operating system than the TVs at home.
Being a hotel, it is covered in many functions. With the service menu I can unlock some, but not others. For example, I can't install apps like Netflix etc...
The fact is that it seems that I can replace the main by a, say, "normal". I think the one that corresponds is NU7105, ref BN94-02635. At work, which is a convention center and a hotel, I have many TVs from 55" to 85" that break down, and I usually repair them using parts from others, always the same model, which makes it easy. And last year I put the panel of one of those hotel ones on a normal Smart, since I verified that they used the same panel model. I've done "Frankenstein" other times, and it's turned out well.
Total, I have grabbed a pair of 49" domestic TV Mains with a broken screen, and I have tested them on the same Hotel TV model that I have, 65", with a failure in the LEDs, for example (I attach photos) .
The two Main that I have tried are of the same model, but one letter varies.
With one of them, the TV looks as if part of the image is missing on the bottom side, it is stretched and there are streaks on the top side that go down and colors are wrong.
With the other, the geometry is correct, but the colors are wrong, as if they were inverted. This includes the menus, Smart Hub, everything that appears on the screen. I have tested the two domestic Mains on various 55" and 65" panels, and the result is always the same, each with its own.
The panels work well with her Hotel Main, of course. And I have verified that both the Hotel Main and the domestic one use the same panel, original from Samsung, the 65A6AU0NN.
Of course, with each change, I entered the service menu and reviewed the data regarding the panel, version, etc... and everything is correct(?).
At this point, I doubt if the Mains recovered from broken panels may be damaged, or I am leaving something to be configured from the service menu. I appreciate any guidance on this.
I also see that there are many jumpers with resistors on the boards, but since I don't have the service manual with schematics, it's hard to know what they do, and I prefer not to touch...
I leave photos of everything, and if you need any, you just have to ask for it.
Thank you for reading.
