OK, you are not going to get AC to the bridge rectifier until the main board sends the PS-ON to turn on those two power relays to supply the AC to the bridge.
You need to check the fuse for the STBY POWER SUPPLY as marked and check to see if you do have 330VDC between the two legs of the main filter cap for the STBY power supply to run the STBY SMPS IC or not.

i am confused now, you ask me to check for 330VDC between the legs of the main filter cap as marked,, which there is not any voltage
however i thought i would not get any DC volts on the board until the AC had passed through the bridge rectifier, or am i thinking stupid

                                        OK, check the resistance between
                                        Point A and B
                                        Point B and C

                                        Point E and F

Check the two rectifier diodes, check the NTC (should be <10 Ohms or so)

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

Greetings to all, a while ago my TV was dead, it didn't turn on and the standby light was off, the next day it is working. But these days it no longer wants to turn on, I did some troubleshooting, I disconnected the main board, I checked the voltage on the backlight and there is 400 DC, when I connect it again the main board the voltage drops, in all that troubleshooting, miraculously the standby light comes on and the TV works. After an hour I check and test, I turn on the TV, the Stanby light flashes 3 times and it...

Samsung 60" Plasma TV, Blinking Standby LED

A sports bar/restaurant with ~40 Samsung Plasma TVs. This is the 2nd TV that has a blinking standby LED. I'd like to learn how to repair these TVs because I'd guess that over time more and more of them will develop this symptom. My hope is to repair the bad PCB, however if that's not realistic then I'd replace the bad PCB.

                                          Model PN60F5300AF, Type PN60F5300, Model Code PN60F5300AFXZA

Upon applying power, the red standby is steady. When I tap the power button, the standby LED immediately blinks twice, then it blinks once ~ every 4 secs. Also, Upon applying power, the...
