Can i use a ups instead of isolation transformer

i just purchased today an APC SC1000i for the sum of £10.57 hoping i can use it as a safer way to work on tv's am i correct? well obviously with mains input removed

A Ups will only act like an ISO transformer if unplugged from the wall. Up to you buddy

Long term a proper ISO transformer will work out best not alot to go wrong on it compared to a UPS
