And the led on the control board is blinking ?

there are 2 leds the one nearest the fuse symbol at the top of the board (led 2002) comes on briefly then goes off

the other which is nearest to ysus ribbon flashes 1 per second all the time tv is on and the screen is glowing

i believe so Matka i havent got round to sending mine off yet to get it done as im not paying ££££££££ for another board

Did you try starting the Tv in service mode, info, menu, mute power ?

IF the original fault with the set was dome-heads on the PSU, and you've replaced those dome-head caps,(Mainly the 2200uf, 16V) and now there's no VS-On signal from control-board or theres no image or corrupted image, Then the EEPROM data on the Control-Board is corrupted.

There's a seller supplying the programmed EEPROM on fleagay for a tenner.

Ive had this problem, and the new EEPROM cured the issue.

When the caps fail in the PSU, the excess ripple on the supplies corrupts the F/W Code in the EEPROM chip, so you'll get weird effects, no image at all or the set still wont fire up as it should...

Doesn't always happen, but its a known issue...
