    Vestel 17IPS10-3 v1 with 17MB62-1 - Standby Problem - blinking 3 times

    Hi,

I've repaired some smaller vestel TVs already, with replacing some diodes.
Right now I'm not able to repair a TELEFUNKEN TF32EP843 FHD DVB-T.

    It consists of a 17IPS10-3 v1 and 17MB62-1 v1.

When I turn on the TV, the standby LED constantly blinks 3 times.

I'm able to "start" the TV by holding on/off button on the RC. Than it can be normally used.
But when switching it off, it begins blinking again. I attach the log from Putty to this thread.

Can anyone suggest how to repair it? The diodes I checked already.
    5v from PSU has 5,33v
    3v from PSU has 3,43v
    12v from PSU has 11,32v

I'm not familar how the standby works between PSU and Mainboard. I'm not able to read the schematic
When I update the firmware (only when updating) this is displayed:

    #
    UART_115200
    BIST0-OK
    BIST1-FAIL
    #

    Thanks
    Stephan

    Dear forum,

I'm stuck with this old TV unit.
    PSU: 17PW04-1
    MB: 17MB62-1
    Symptoms:
    - Blue LED constantly blinking when connected to AC.
    - Only sigh of life is beeping when touching the capactive buttons on the front.

    Diagnostics so far:
    Checked the PSU output voltages:
    12V present
5V present altought its only around 4.2V
    3V is present measured 3.4V.

I check TP 202 which is for the short circuit protection: 0.606V on diode mode

Since I met with some vestel models before with similiar symptoms...

Troubleshooting Vestel TV, has standby, but cannot turn ON
    by Adenitz
    Hello,
I need advice in troubleshooting Telefunken TV (it is actually Vestel). There is red Standby light but TV cannot be turned on either by remote control (which is good and tested on another TV) or by actual on/off switch at the back of the TV.
Power board is Vestel 17IPS71 and I'm not sure about the mainboard, it seems like 17MB82S
Both boards are shown in the attached photos.

What is normally first that is checked in this case. I have removed power board, make sure it has no dangerous voltage on the big caps and check many components (transistors and diodes)...

    Hello!
Bought a used TV last weekend and everything was fine when I tested it. Back home I tried to connect it with my PC via HDMI. I noticed that the picture didn't quite fit in the TV's picture and so I tried to change the output resolution on my PC and then changed the picture formats on the TV. I still didn't get the picture right and stopped to google the problem and then it happened - the TV died on me after I got to use it for 30min.

Samsung 60" Plasma TV, Blinking Standby LED
    by rju
A sports bar/restaurant with ~40 Samsung Plasma TVs. This is the 2nd TV that has a blinking standby LED. I'd like to learn how to repair these TVs because I'd guess that over time more and more of them will develop this symptom. My hope is to repair the bad PCB, however if that's not realistic then I'd replace the bad PCB.

    Model PN60F5300AF, Type PN60F5300, Model Code PN60F5300AFXZA

Upon applying power, the red standby is steady. When I tap the power button, the standby LED immediately blinks twice, then it blinks once ~ every 4 secs. Also, Upon applying power, the...
