Start by checking the DCV on that white connector that goes to the main board, as you can see it has chart next to the connector to tell you what each pin is, you need to report the DCV of each pi, make sure to give us the pin number and pin name for each Voltage readings when the TV is ON.
what is the power supply board P/N? BN44-????? BN44-00418A?
Did you check the fuse in the middle of the board?
BTW, that white cap CI818 next to the fuse has bulging to the side, it is bad and it is a common failure cap for the backlights inverter cricuit. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...9&d=1445565280
I checked these by unplugging the connector.. so i am not sure if what you meant by "on". I had it plugged into power.
What kind of Capacitor is that white one. I am familiar with the other type.. Where would i find a replacement for that. Is it possible that is what my problem is?
Does the cap has bulging to the side of it? I can see that in your pictures, if it is then that what you need to replace. I hope you know how to solder.
