I don't know but you could just get it from Sears IC8702 , C0DBAFG00029

          IC8702 in cct diagram suggests it's a 1.8V?

            1.85 V ±1.0% S-1172B1J-U5T1x (sot89), S-1172B1J-E6T1x (hsop)

Have I got the right chip in the photo? do you see the 1J on the 2nd line of that chip?

When i check for resistance from pin 6 or 3 to ground i get less than 1 ohm.also when i check pin 6 and 3 to pin 2 or 5 there is resistance.since pin 2 and 5 are ground.at first i thought that ic was bad but when i pulled and did same tests no resistance between pins and ground on the chip by it self.but on the pins with no chips the readings show short between pin 3 and 6 to ground.I am thinking bad caps.here is the schematic of the chip.it is not very clear but that is all i could find

I removed the caps and like to be expected Panasonics caps usually don't go bad still have short.i traced the shorted line looks like it is going ic 8000.If that is bad this board is going into the I don't have equipment to replace it box. When I get ird bga machine then I will put back on the work bench.

yeah, I was thinking you may be heading that way when you said this was shorted. I think a few have tried tracing these when dead and the supply side ends up ok only to find the chip being supplied is fried.

I was hoping it would be simple fix but some how i knew it would end up there.maybe one day i will invest in a tool to remove these. What would you recommend.

I have had an issue that I've never come across in all my years of laptop repairs and it has happened twice in the last couple of weeks. The issue occurred on 2 laptops.

This laptop came in working, customer wanted to replace the top keyboard assembly for cosmetic reasons so I replaced the keyobard assembly and put their touchpad in it. After booting into windows it would not work, so I assumed I needed to update it or something. Since they didn't give me the Admin account, as it was a company laptop and the...

                                          Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

                                          Hello Everyone!
I'm facing an issue with a MacBook A1706 (820-00923-05) The keyboard stopped working, I replaced it with a new keyboard, after replacing a new keyboard it worked perfectly for some time after that it stopped working.
Any guidance and advice on how to approach this problem would be greatly appreciated

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
                                          • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
                                          • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

                                          Hello,

i have many 5050sff. all of them, and how i experienced over many years for all about 250 DELLs goin through my hands, are fully flashable and can be serviced in any way when the service_mode jumper is set.
Never ever i experienced problems with that.

Now i have one 5050sff machine, where this jumper isnt working at all.
I do not get the normal messge that the jumper is set when booting and a short test with FPT just confirms this. Everything is locked -->> EVEN for reading !?

The history of the machine is that i used it in my office...
