UPDATE: Found 2 defective LEDs. Replaced those 2 only and tv it's been playing fine all day for 2 days already. Used LED's from a scrap 50" tv.

Thanks for the follow-up.
So you did not try the LEDs that you ordered from China?
BTW, make sure to turn down the backlghts level to as low as possible in the on screen user setup.

Hi Budm. I did try them but they were not a perfect fit. They got to be inverted to work and since I don't know much about it, I didn't want to take the chance. Disasembling the tv multiple times is a pain and I'm also afraid of breaking the screen.
So I used the 50" samsung tv LED and it worked! (UN50EHXX)

UPDATE: Unit came back grrrrr. 3 more burned LEDs. Different locations. Gave up. A lot of them they look brown and I can't keep risking to break the screen. Game Over.

Did you set the backlights lower?
