Hi all, I have this 50" LG plasma here that I was given for free so not too bad. The fault is the tv is troublesome to start, reading up I can see that faulty Zsus can be an issue however with both Ysus and Zsus upluged the set still acts the same way. I checked the Pson signal and its fine and with in spec all the time. I can tell that some one has repaired this tv before as there is some obvious work thats been done on the Zsus. Just wandering if anyone has any info the Psu it will fail to bring the Va & Vs and another other rail over 5v up when its faulting out and it does no seem to be temperature related. Thanks in advance.

Re: Lg 50PS3000
Right looking into this seems that the 5vstby is sagging so wander whats happening there. Doing some research I can see that some people have had the issue of the 5vstby chip failing better get checking.Last edited by ReeceyBurger123; 08-10-2015, 12:30 PM.Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Re: Lg 50PS3000
Its ok mate I have found something now, the reason why the 5v sags when main is disconnected is I'm guessing because it isn't being loaded. However found that the mainboard is actually causing the Vs and Va to drop out as it looses the Vson signal to psu however when I flex the mainboard that signal comes back and the tv works. I have made a youtube video and will be posting it when the tv is fixed thanks for the input though. Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. by gshark1Hi, I've exhausted lots of software side options to try and fix why my nvidia 2070 GPU has disappeared from my gaming laptop MSI GL75-10SFK. The system boots and functions normally but only using Intel integrated graphics. Before, it was working fine then began having some blue screens. (I will attach the system event and mini-dump at the end of post). After a few days of the occasional BSODs it finally disappeared from device manager and never came back. I researched and attempted to troubleshoot this issue but im out of options and was wondering if yall had some ideas maybe on the hardware side....

by reessiReplaced Zsus beginning of year as most transistors were short stopping tv powering up.
Now screen flashes on off continually and ZSUS ticks. Looking like replacement maybe faulty or could something else cause it to shut down.
If I remove both tabs from ZSUS to screen but keep all other connectors to ZSUS on then TV boots properly but screen very dark without ZSUS output, no ticking from ZSUS. So it only shuts down when under load from screen.
If it is ZSUS then how to fault find, I already looked for shorts. No transistors shorted or caps and its...12-13-2017, 01:18 PM -

by Francesc V.Hi:
I am trying to repair this modular ATX PSU. It only has the 5V Standby and PSON enabled (3.33V).
PSON is delivered by (ST9S429-PG14) in pin4. This chip is a Voltage controller but it doesn't seem to trigger any PWM signal to pass it to primary through coils and "move" the big mosfets. Also next to it there is a EST7618 that it also seems a voltage controller.
Not sure if in the right direction, but trying to find where PWM signal is generated.
Green section seems that could be the "PWM section". It's driven by a... -
by Salvatore057Hi all,
I am trying to fix my plasma TV which is not powering on due to damaged IGBTs. I have changed two igbts and 2 IC drivers on the zsus and also two igbts on the ysus.
Now everytime I plugged the ZSUS and the YSUS boards to the power board, the two 30f124 IGBT on the ZSUS are damaged and the TV stays in standby mode. When I plug the ZSUS board alone the TV turns ON but I do not see pictures. When I plug the ZSUS board without the two 30f124 IGBTs and the YSUS board, the TV powers on with a picture.
I am lost, should I change the YSUS board? Is the YSUS board damaging... - Loading...
