My 60" sharp Lc-60le820un has vertical line on it. I can still see the picture but there seems to be coloured lines for a quarter of the screen. It starts at the center and goes to the left about a quarter of the screen. I have no other problems. No indication that anything is wrong. Where should I start?

Sadly if it's an LE8xx series Sharp this is almost certainly a bad LCD panel (this seems to be a common model with these sets.) Generally a bad LCD cannot be resolved. I saw the first two pics and it looks to me like a bad tab bond or driver ic. You may have to strip it down to the panel but of course wait for more input...Comment
