    Plasma Question.

Is it bad to lay a plasma tv down to troubleshoot it?

    Re: Plasma Question.

You need to be careful with them as if you flex the frame you could crack the panel, but as long as nothing is under the screen when you lay it flat it will be fine with power or no power going to the set.

Yes its fine, Its more about transporting TV's than anything.... If a TV is flat and is bounced up and down (Speed Bumps, Potholes etc) with the centre of the screen being the least supported area and will move up and down too... This can cause fracturing of the panel
