    Techvision LCD TV image problem

    Hello, can anyone help me with this situation? The TV doesn't have image on the bottom half of the TV, is this a Main board problem? Does it fix it if i replace it?

          The backlights for the bottom half of the screen is not turned on.

            The backlights are all on (the bottom half had gray glowing screen) but the row drivers are not working. Not much you can do.

                Could this still not be a lose cable on the TCon or bad TCon

                Couldn't this be an issue with the ribbons along the side not being soldered on correctly?

                Could this not be an issue with caps as well if I recall correctly caps have fixed similar issues before IDK for certain but grab your ESR at least.

                IDK why the "drivers" are not working but one would assume something could be done with the proper equipment IDK I have seen guys fix LCD screens with lines through them which are supposed to be "dead" with an iron on the edge of the ribbon granted it was on smaller hand held devices but still it makes me think of when just to call it non repairable.
