65" W Box TV half backlight problem

I have a 65" W Box TV, model 0E-65LED4K that most of the times it is turned on, the right half of the backlights flash on and off in a split second and remain off while the other half lights up and stays on just fine. I thought it would be the LEDs, so I checked all of them and they're all good, no direct problem with any of the LEDs or any of the connections. One thing I noticed was that when I disconnected one of the LED strips from the left side (the working side) the backlights now switched and the half left side flashed and stayed off while the right side lit up and stayed on. I then checked the voltages on the circuit boards. The only thing that stood out was that on the power supply board I was reading 32v on each of four pins that connect to the LED driver that is supposed to be 24v each. I disconnected to check if it was the LED driver board that was drawing that power or if it was the power supply, and it's the power supply. Do you think that this could cause the LED driver board to kill the power on half of the backlights to avoid frying them? What should I do next? I attached a few pictures. Thank you.

    LG UH8500 Backlight Troubleshooting Help
    by htv239
    Hello,

I am currently troubleshooting an LG 60UH8500 TV (2016 TV). Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Overall Issue: When TV is turned on, backlights all come on for about 10 seconds, then all go out. There is sound and there is a picture on the display (obviously hard to see without backlights, but it is there).

What I Have Done So Far: 1) Removed the back TV cover to expose the boards (Power Supply, Tcon, and Main), 2) blew out any dust and cleaned all connections, 3) Noticed that the LED backlights are fed from two separate connectors...

    LED DRIVER KEEPS DYING
    by osrex
Hello, this is my first post and im just a beginner, so be easy on me guy. thanks

i have a LED chandeilier that switches colors from white to cool white to warm when toggling the switch, it has 24 LED arms, each arm is 30 CM length.

i have no datasheet at all for the LED lights, all i have is its length.

long story short, testing the chandelier on the ground, and it works fine for 1 - 2 - 6 hours, no problem.

as soon as i fix the chandelier to the ceiling and bury the driver inside the hub,...

    TCL 55US57 backlights, no picture.
    by DXseekerMO
So here we go with another screen short TCL. For this exercise left and right will be reference looking at the screen.

The person I got this TV from said the color was bad in a vertical fashion about 1/4 of the way over the left side of the screen. Shortly after the symptoms below started.

Power Supply, main and T-CON board are working.

Symptoms: The TV has backlights but no picture with both FFC's attached to the T-CON and does not respond to the remote or buttons, and the TV appears to continuously re-boot.

    Unhook FFC from left side...

LCD Backlights Driver - Unknown Component
    by Spongebob89
    Hi,
I have an "LCD Backlights Driver" and it is not working. After measurments and checking the routes of the PCB I beleive that this component on the red circle is a choke for filtering the supply voltage and block noise from the inverter to go back to the main board. When I measured in ohm and in diode mode with multemeter shows always OL. I shortcircuit this component and it worked. The current that I measured with multemeter is 550mA, so I want rated current 1,5x550mA=825mA~1Α. Am I right that this is a choke and if yes what value do you beleive is (maybe 15uH or the...

Samsung UN55NU7300F Curved TV. Half side backlight out. Fixed by just removing the rear snap cover
    by howardc64
TV was fixed just after removing Samsung's rear snap cover.

This curved TV's construction is rather interesting. When the snapped on back is removed, rest of the TV will relax the curvature. Top of LCD panel is loose as it wants to straighten out against the slightly curved bezel. Snapped back provide most of the curvature shape. So just simple disassembly of rear cover will allow the rest of the TV frame to relax its curvature. Thats probably what fixed it but no idea which connection. 4x LEDs are edge lit.

Maybe PSU->backlight connector didn't have a good contact?...
