    LG42G1A_YSUS EAX52396901 Troubleshooting

I have a LG 42GI1A-YSUS board that I can't find what is wrong with it. It is getting 190v in but the voltage our readings are bad and I've been checking caps, regulators and diodes and can't find the bad parts. Can someone point me in the right direction. I've been having bad luck on repairs lately. I've repaired my first 4-5 tv's pretty fast and now I have 5 more that have been sitting in my garage and can't find the issues. These are turning out to be a bigger learning experience for me. Here are the input/output voltages I'm reading with buffer board disconnected. Thanks

    VS= 190v
    Vz+ 80.9
    VZ- 0
    Vy+ 3.2
    Vy- 2.2
    Vsc+ 4.05
    Vsc- 2.1

How are you measuring the -Vy and VSC...?

There should be only one voltage for each--Not two!

--I'm guessing you're measuring the test-points to chassis instead of the Correct way, as in meter to plus/minus of the -Vy/VSC...

You are correct I was measuring to the chasis. There are two pads one labelled + and one - for Vy and Vz but I must have made a mistake on VSC as I only see on in picture. Anyhow, I'll recheck voltages the proper way tonight

Ok, Vsc and Vy start at 180v then slowly drop to 1v and the tv stays on the whole time. Vz stays at a stable 80v, not sure what it is supposed to be. Sounds like a bad cap but I've desoldered and tested almost all of them. Any ideas?

Lift Master garage door opener with WiFi capability application through your phone
          by sam_sam_sam
I had a lot of trouble with the WiFi connection from my router inside of the house into a ( new ) metal garage I had to run a 150 ft cat6 patch cord so the WIFI connection would be strong enough for the WiFi connection on the garage door opener would work correctly ( my son has a work out area in the garage as well and he was having to put his phone near the door to be able to stream music ) ( so I was going to eventually put WiFi out there anyway )

This garage door opener WiFi is very touchy if you lose the power it does not remember the password for the router which is weird or...

(If anyone has a functional boardview file of FX505DV/DU that would be helpful)
(Had 3 problems, now just 1)

I have no experience or knowledge and usage of tools to repair devices besides the entire past 12-10 days of researching, watching YouTube repair videos and troubleshooting this laptop motherboard. ChatGPT was used as a guide to ask questions.
I used boardviews of mostly FX505GD-M, and some FX505DU, FX505DD. Used schematics of FX505DU.

I had originally intended to replace the BQ24780s first (due to previous battery removal while benchmarking) but I...

ASUS TUF X570-PLUS doesn't power on: no VRM_EN signal.
          by ShadowAi
Hello, I have an issue with the motherboard. Specifically, it doesn't power on, more precisely, the POST initialization doesn't occur.

Let me start from the beginning, the motherboard suddenly stopped working one day. There are no beep signals from the speaker, and the debug LEDs are not lighting up. After inspecting it under a microscope and using thermal imaging, I didn't find anything that could be damaged.

After that, I began voltage measurements, in which I noticed the absence of VDDQ, VDDP, VTT, and VPP lines. Later, I checked if there is an EN state on these lines,...

ENCONTRAR DATOS DMI EN EL CHIP BIOS IDEAPAD5 15ITL05 / FIND DMI DATA ON IDEAPAD5 15ITL05 BIOS CHIP
          by danielgerman681
Hi, Im trying to find the area on the chip that contains all of my laptops information, but I havent found it. The laptop won't turn on anymore. I was updating the BIOS, and it was supposed to reboot itself, but it wouldnt turn back on. I ve tried every possible solution, every alternative on Lenovo forums, everywhere; I ve taken it to technicians, and no one has been able to fix it. I've already read the chip that contains the BIOS (Winbond 25Q128JSVQ) and searched for my laptops data, but they're nowhere to be found. I only find scribbles and lines of text indicating errors. Has anyone had a...
