Keep in mind 8 blink can also be

Open or loose connection between connectors C10/C20 Open or loose connection between A20 and SC20.

Under what conditions did the 8 blink occur? If you shut it down and turn it on again does it come back on or go straight to 8 blink? Does it go 8 blink after a set amount of time?

i turned it on again hours later yesterday and it powered up without SOS, i left it on for 10 min.
Can you recall any other instances of the washed out snowy screen screen, could it be the panel (oh no)

No, I don't this so. It's board related just not sure which but going to be SC or SS. I'm thinking SC, and Tom seems to like SS, you've ordered one so wait and see

            Hi again,
I did put in another SS, I actually had already bought one (forgot). I have so many boards coming and going between the 3 TV's.
And it was the same result. I have a kit for the SC that I will try next. I will have that on Monday, and hopefully that will make a difference.
Thanks and enjoy the weekend, the weather is finally starting to get nice here for spring, and I imagine starting to go the other way for you guys.

i got my SC back from Moduslink, but no luck, I
also tried both SS cards, one seemed brighter, but this pic shows what I have.
I am coming to grips with dealing with another bad screen.

                Hi,

Have you made sure that the sc board is the correct revision for this tv. I have seen this before where someone installed the wrong sc board and caused a very similar picture quality. Make sure the sc board is the correct version for the panel. Hope this helps

                  hmmm good suggestion,
i will double check, but the card i had repaired was the card originally in the TV. But maybe t is the wrong suffix, i will check

It's possible if you got the tv in non working condition, that the previous owner had replaced the sc board in hopes to resolve the 7 blink code but purchased the incorrect part.

                      BINGO! there is still hope
i have a TNPA5335BK TXNSC1NVUUB which I sent to moduslink and have available in good working order as far as I know, with warranty.
Probably as you said, previous owner tried to repair or have repaired.

I should have for this model:
                      TNPA5335AJ TXNSC1NWUU

I will see if I can find one....

                      Thanks nicholas1110!

Re: Panasonic TC-P50GT30 screen washed out

I have looked at the block diagram for both the p50 and p55 (SC board in hand)
at first glance the difference is VHIZ GEN (IC16792, IC 16973)
next I will see if I can determine if any other available boards have this VHIZ cct that i can take the components off and add to my board
looks like thre is no p50VT30, and the P50ST30 is a diff card,
Is there a better way to view the schematic to determine the chips in the cct?
looks like I can see the component numbers on the board, and can look them up on the service manual, yay. I
I will see if they are available, then decide if i want to tackle it.
                        see pics:

i think the only other difference as far as i can tell between tnpa5335AJ(P50GT30) and tnpa5335BK(P55GT30) is the following components that need to be added to the BK
                          resistors
                          16797
                          16798
                          16799
                          16919
                          16818
                          16819
                          16820
                          IC16792
                          IC16791
                          C16797
                          D16792
                          D16795

                          Q16921
                          Q16922
                          R16920
                          R16923
                          R16924

                          all are available.
Am I correct to assume that if these parts are the only differences between the two schematics, then it should work, or are there other issues that I am unaware of.
The other choice is to wait until the AJ board is available
                          thanks

theorectically it should if that cct is made up. Are you getting all parts OEM? sounds expensive.

using a combination of those 2 suppliers, it's about $18 before shipping, so if i get double what I need it's $48 total.
My other choice is to sell the board I have and wait for the correct board to be available.
That could also cost me $30-$50.
I can't be positive that a proper SC card will solve my problem, but I want to try.
And since all the solder pads are ready and waiting, it could be fun mounting the 17 parts.
                                  Am I crazy?

My other choice is to sell the board I have and wait for the correct board to be available.
That could also cost me $30-$50.
I can't be positive that a proper SC card will solve my problem, but I want to try.
And since all the solder pads are ready and waiting, it could be fun mounting the 17 parts.
                                    Am I crazy?
it's interesting. i don't see many options, a board may never surface so worth a shot but I'd copy and paste all the parts side by side in excel and do 1005 comparison on the Sc. just in case other parts need to be deleted plus there maybe some diferences in the caps and coils since this is for a 55" and you're getting back to a 50'.

                                      that is a great idea!
that would never have occurred to me
is there anyway to separate out the SC parts?

Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Hi all, I’ve got a problem I hope someone can help me fixi.
I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...

                                            Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                                            Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement

Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...

                                            Hi,

I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
