Hello i am trying to help my daughter fix her TV it's a Sony KDL-32L504, she had a DVD player hooked up through an HDMI cable, no matter what HDMI slot used, nothing on the screen. Its not the DVD or HDMI cable as i checked them out. I brought over another DVD that uses component cables and when placed on Video-1 the picture comes up briefly with sound, then goes black and loses sound. If you turn it on with either the remote or the buttons on the set it comes on for a couple of seconds, sometimes not long enough to change the input, status light stays green. Trying to fix this for her myself to save her on repairs. I was trying to do a TV reset, but it doesn't stay on long enough to do this. I have read various issues with different models and still find myself not knowing where to start, need some guidance on what to check first. I will post some pictures when i tear this apart at her house. Thank you in advance.
