Pioneer PDP 504 PG. no picture and 3 blinkling Red LEDs

Firstly, many thanks to Tom66 and the many outstanding contributions which enabled my first diagnosis.

    Problem:
When power is turned on, the TV picture is pink (see pic) and powers down after 3-5 seconds, then the Red front panel LED blinks 3 times.

    Conclusion so far:
Everything points to this being the 50 scan B, based on the 3 LED blinks, defective looking IC on the board (I missed this in first inspection) and the service manual.

    Main question:
if it is Scan B, then why do I still get power down with the board disconnected, especially when the scan B board is disconnected? Could there be another problem? Has anyone else had the same error.

Picture of screen & IC attached.

    Checks conducted:

    1. Disconnected power to drive & scan assemblies, one by one

Disconnected power to Y drive: same power down and 3 red flashes on front panel

Disconnected power to X drive: same power down and 3 red flashes on front panel

Disconnected power to lower Scan Y drive: power down and 3 red flashes on front panel

Disconnected power to upper Scan Y drive: power down and 4 red flashes on front panel

    2. Visual inspection:
No obvious blown caps on any of the boards. IC in upper scan Y looks defective (pic attached).

    3. Voltage checks from the check points on the power supply:

    Vsus : 223v
    16.5v output: 16.45v
6.5v output: 6.64v (started at 6.8v then reduced to 6.45v before the power down)
    VADR: 16.5v

Note: There is no LED illuminated on the power supply, only a continuous red LED on the Digital Video Assembly board which lights after power down. When power is turned on, 2 other LEDs light up on this board first, then turn off when Red LED turns on.

Update to the above - as future info to others:
The y-scan boards are bonded to the screen, so the only way I see for repairing a defective IC is to replace the IC, leaving the board in place. Not sure how easy or expensive that is.

I have two of these models right now and have been sitting on them for a while, debating whether to attempt the repair or not. One has at least two bad IC's and I ordered them, but they've just been sitting there, waiting for me to make up my mind and chance it or not. I'm worried that there could be something else wrong with the set and that of course changing the IC's is kind of a pain if you haven't done it and gotten good at it. The other model only has one visibly bad IC, but again, what if more are bad or what if these also have a bad Y-SUS?

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
        by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

        Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

        First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

un60j620dafxza - Samsung No Display Problem
        by stylishconsultant
        Hi All,

        Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

pioneer A-307R flashing leds on front panel, possible short
        by crea2k
I have a pioneer A-307R here and what it does is flash all of the leds on the front and nothing more.

I got the thermal camera out on it and saw that Q451 was getting hot, so I removed it and the lights now come on as normal, but obviously that part of the amp doesn't work.

I tried replacing it, but it goes back to its flashing lights thing again.

I noticed too that on the back of the board R465 - R467 - R 469 are all getting red hot (over 100 degrees C)

Im guessing I have a short here somewhere, but so far I have not managed to find...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
        by TR103
        Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
        - sound and backlight, but no picture
        - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
        - it keeps rebooting
        - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
        - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
        - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

        - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
        by Pipolups
        Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...
