I have a 50" Panasonic plasma. Model Number TC-P50S30.
A few days ago, I was watching it, and like someone unplugged it; the TV went out. It would do nothing except display a solid red power LED light. No fault codes.
After playing around with it I held the power button in for about 10s and then I started to get 14 blinks. Next I started doing some research and found this guide. After following it I found that the Vsus(p11/White was shorted) after following the flow chart it said to replace SC board. But as I read further into the guide I found another flow chart to trouble shoot the solid red LED condition.
The flow chart states that after unplugging the listed connectors (SC2, SC20, SS11) and I get 8 blinks, based on this it says to replace the A-board.
So basically my question is where do I start? I am leaning towards replacing the SC board first, since I can simply go from a solid red LED to an 8 blink LED by unplugging SC2, this tells me the problem most likely is within the SC board correct?
On the other hand this all may be a null point since I am having trouble finding either an A-board or SC Board at all.
Thanks for the help in advance,
Jake
