    Re: Polariod le-22gbr+dvd

Replace the epprom on the main board, these boards the epprom always seems to corrupt because the software is barly functional. I bet that if you replace it the tv will be back to life.

Before you try replacing EEPROM/flash memory IC...

Press INPUT 2580 on the remote (also try INPUT 3690/4725) to access service menu
Select "Factory Reset" or similar option, see if that works.

                      Yes, will need programming.

It's a serial/SPI flash for the TV's software. EEPROMs are different and generally only store configuration. Most TVs will work with a blank EEPROM, as they will reset it with new data.

No....This is an SPI/serial flash. Stores software that the TV runs. So it won't work unfortunately.
If it *was* an EEPROM, that might work (on many sets it does)

Yeah, pretty much - hardly worth it for a 22" set. Still, do try the reset first.

I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

Hello, My head unit developed strange behaviors so I ran the built-in diagnostic package which returned "No EEProm". The service manual says there is no EEProm connected. I approached Pioneer and they said to swap out the DSP board. All said and good but the DSP board is $860 USD. I am hoping someone can help me

1). Understand the schematic and check the connections between the EEProm and DSP
2). Check the functionality of the EEProm

I don't know if this is the unit's problem but it's a place to start.

I have little to no electronic experience...

                                Hi everyone

I´m trying to repair a TV Vizio E320-A0 that I found in the street

The symptoms are it doesn't respond with remote or buttons, the LED indicator is always off and also there is no image on the TV.

The power supply board works fine (I probed the terminals with my multimeter) but in the main board the EEPROM doesn't works correctly because the voltage on the pins doesn't match with the parameters of the datasheet.

So, I´m going to replace the EEPROM with a new one, but the problem is that my programmer (CH341a)...

This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

Good day to all, I have a big problem. I can't find the eeprom dump for the Eizo CS2740 monitor. The device doesn't turn on, the indicator just lights up. It responded to connecting to the PC once. The update process started with the standard program and then disconnected from the computer. The computer doesn't detect it anymore. If anyone has an eeprom dump, please share.
