Hi guys, I'm having some issues with a monitor I recently bought. It's an ASUS VS229H P 22in Slim LED 1080p Monitor.
I bought it about a month ago, brand new, and have only used it a handful of times. I have never shook it, dropped it, or done anything to it that could've broken or dislodged any internal components. Yet somehow, it just started having sorts of weird problems. I was doing some 3d modeling last night, and all of a sudden, the screen turned a foggy white and flickered for a while before it settled down to a somewhat normal state. Except, 5 or 6 pink vertical lines remained from the top left corner to about the center of the screen. Another thing I've noticed is, there seems to be a slight pulsating, or flashing in the left corner as well. It's almost as if a light is going on and off. Maybe it's an led or backlight?
I've tried different cables on both DVI, VGA, and HDMI ports. I've also connected the monitor to different computers, and the problem remains across all of them. So I can rule out any GPU problems.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? Or any suggestions I can try before I try messing with it myself? Thanks
