Toshiba 32L2300U1 LED TV, blank screen

Hello,

I have a Toshiba 32L2300U1 LED TV. There is the red "Toshiba" logo when I first turn it on, then the screen goes blank within a second or two. Green light goes on, stays on. No blinking or anything like that.

We bought this TV about 7 months ago for a relative, not long ago it just went out. She's quite a pill, so instead of trying to fix it and making her wait around for it, we just bought her a replacement and brought this one home to try and fix it. That being said, I have no idea what lead up to it not doing anything past the red Toshiba logo.

maybe try a firmware update if ones available.

No firmware update for this model. Thanks though, I forgot to add that I'd already looked for that into the original post.

I usually start with testing the power supply voltages, should be a legend with expected voltages by the connectors that plug in, unless you have an external power supply, as always be careful working with power supply, HIGH VOLTAGE, on primary side can be deadly. can test with digital multimeter in dc mode.
