Panasonic 3d Plasma TC-p50st50 6 blinks no power

So my plasma has the 6 blink code. No power only blinking light. I started by checking all connections. All good there. Nothing is marked for voltages on these boards. I have 215 volts going to the X and Y sus boards. I have nothing else to go from here. I also disconnected ribbons from the Y board to attempt getting 7 blinks but I still have 6. It seems like the A board is the issue. Just want to confirm

when you say disconnected ribbons from the SC board, which one/s? they are labelled.

Disconnected SC20 C36 and TV stays on with no backlight. Maybe bad Y sus and both buffers to go with it need to be changed. Thats my best guess.

ok, so sounds like you've changed your mind. I'd have to find the training guide but 6 blink is Sc board, 7 can be SC or SD/SU.

were the screws loose by any chance on tha SC board where t's mounteD/ burn or scorch marks on the bottom or mount points of the panel frame?

I believe you are correct. Yes I changed my mind haha. No burn marks, connections, screws all in place. Ill take the chance for $52 for Y sus and both buffers from someone I deal with quite a bit online. Thanks for the help, Ill let you know if this thing fires up. Yes I have my antistatic bracelet on. Ive fried a very expensive Samsung 3d main board by barely touching it in the past. Learning from the little mistakes to be more careful. I have 50 tvs to work on, Fixed 15 thus far. Some with solder work, others board changes. Plasmas are a whole different animal than the LCD and LEDs. Ive only fixed 2 plasmas so far.

50 Tvs! It sucks to be me. Buffers can be checked but $52 for the 3 sounds good. I'd check or sell the others as Sc faulty , SD/SU unknown. hanging onto those core boards maybe be handy down the track for repair or someone may be keen to repair the SC at least.

have you checked any of the transistors for short on the Sc yet?

              I'm thinking Payless Components

s o I bought the Y board and the two buffers from a respectable company all three a brand new boards unfortunately it did not help out the TV I am really good with a multimeter just need some guidance on what could be next I still have 6 flashing LED

Assuming used boards, that Sc could be bad too. The training guide is straight forward with it's test for 6 blinks. It simply says , disconnect the SC20 ribbon and turn on. If it goes 8 blinks then it says SC board.

Stays 6 then A board but since you managed to get the TV on without a blink then A should be ok. I guess you've probed around the replacement board for any signs of shorted transistors?

Awkward situation, if they have a return policy try another set of boards

Can't remember but do these sets have LEDs on SC/SS boards?

Could also check for ER MID voltage across red poly caps near inductors. AFAIK the only cause of SOS6 on SC is low or high ER MID voltage (which can be a symptom of a few faults.)

Should be around 1/2 Vs (=108V), tolerance of 20V either way. Should also be similar to SS board.
