    Does anybody know of a source for bonding film which isn't super expensive?

    This is what I'm referring too. http://www.stanleysupplyservices.com...film/p/429-788

    It's a dry adhesive sheet for repairing circuit traces which have pulled from the board. I was about to order from that link until I realized how small that sheet is. It's only 1½" by 2¼", and would cost over $22 with shipping.

    rs have an electric paint pen.
    i have never used it, but it might suit your application.

      nano-silver paint is a fucking nightmare.

      you could try smearing a thin layer of epoxy under the track.
      something else good for general tacking down of stuff, is a glue called "UHU"
      it sets like plastic and does not turn yellow.
      i use it to tack down wires and large caps.

        I'm hoping to avoid epoxies, just because they are messy. And they are a nightmare when the traces are small.

            I'm thinking that this might be nothing more and a heat activated tape. I can't find anything that can withstand the heat of soldering though.
