    Panasonic 50" TX-P50X50B advice please

Just been given a Panasonic 50" TX-P50X50B for repair when the guy dropped it off he managed to crack the screen , is this a glass front or part of the display itself and is the set now useless or repairable still

just for the record the initial fault was light blinking 7 times ,

awaiting any replies , but guessing its a write off ....

have looked on forum for and found replies re 7 light blinks (red) just none for 50x50 but if screen is still useable then will start repair process using these links

Useless unfortunately. Though usually 7 blinks is due to a crack in the panel on these newer models. So, the crack probably just spread.

      Hi Tom66
      thanks for quick reply ,
just had another look at the front of this tv the damage appears to be a deep ish scratch on the front with cracks running off from it but none of the crack lines are feelable with my fingernail on the outside of the screen, can you give me any pointers of what to check on this tv for the 7 lights fault , ie checking the panel or any other causes , apparently it has gone like this in past and come back on after a few days , or would the screen be classed as a hazard should it fail while working ?

if still beyond hope is it worth keeping any of the panels from the unit or could they be faulty as well if the panel is cracked

        Panasonic Heatpump Dryer Repair

I picked up a Panasonic NH-P70G2, though it would apply to the NH-P80G2, NH-P70G1 and NH-P80G1 models as well, as maybe some other models. This one was coming up with a H86 error. After lots of testing and googling it was an error with one of the thermistors in the condenser area.
The attached French service manuals is incorrect, TH11 is gray and is a 95k thermistor and TH12 is black and is a 35k thermistor.
In my case TH12 was bad. I was able to get a 35k thermistor on AliExpress. It's 6mm in diameter.
Unfortunately the whole machine has to come apart to fix it.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
        by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
        by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

        SMD fuse soldering advice please
        by Ady2017
Hi all. I need to replace an SMD fuse on my camcorder and this is the first time I have had to do any SMD soldering so your advice would be appreciated. Below is a picture of the board that I am working on and I have highlighted the fuse that needs to be replaced. I managed to zoom in to take this picture but the fuse is really tiny and is sandwiched between other components so this is going to be a new milestone for me. I appreciate that I am going to have to buy a new soldering iron if you could advice on what I need please. I was thinking about putting a big soldering iron across the whole...
