With a dead short Vs to ground you should have had a blown fuse. Did you ?

You cannot use 720p board in this 1080p set. Be careful: the 720p board has less components and will not work in this TV, this is probably the part you have found, the 1080p board is unobtanium.

i have a little different board! I took this picture from google bacause they look the same(Maybe little different) to know what does the fuse look like and where its located.

I have still the original board what came with the tv!

There is no fuse on these boards. Only a few older plasma TV boards use fuses.

Have you checked for shorts on the current board? Did you find any?

You will be lucky to find a replacement board. I think repair is the only way. Many of these are failing recently, probably 5 on here last month alone.

From Voltage regulators attached to radiators?

So i measured the resistance between VS and ground again, and on a 2000ohm scale it doesnt show resistance but if i change the range to 200k ohm the resistance keeps rising (Loading caps?)

You need to tell us what you mean by "shows resistance", is that a low number few ohms, or slowly increasing, or single "1" meaning open circuit.

If i measure With 2000ohm range it shows single 1
If i switch to 200k ohm range its slowly rising.

The tv worked after the crack.

This kills the panel. Sorry, but the crack is triggering a control board shut down due to Y-buffer short. Usually non-repairable.

You can try replacing the Y-buffer board but it will probably die again very quickly

Usually non-repairable in that if it has actually cracked and broken the electrodes then no it's not repairable. In a few cases the crack does not cause any permanent harm but the impact might have damaged a board due to a temporary transient short or panel change.

Unfortunately from what info you have provided this is almost certainly caused by the crack in the panel and it won't be fixable, sorry.

                                            Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                                            - sound and backlight, but no picture
                                            - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds

                                            - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                                            - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                                            - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                                            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

                                            Hello all,

This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...
