I am not sure what the board is called: but it is the board that feeds the screen controller board on my philips plasma 42pf532d. It is a Samsung board. Most of the caps say "Made in USA".
There are numerous domed caps on the board out of frame.
I had never seen a capacitor with the "turkey's done!" profile before.
Just curious is all.
BTW, while my question is pretty generic, this board has helped me fix (or ID the problem and parts are enroute) my other broken TV as well as source quality parts.

They look like SAMWA caps typically used in SAMSUNG, bad cap can look normal.Never stop learning

I had a bad cap on that same board cause no picture. 20 minutes warm up later and sparkly picture appeared, after 1 hour it worked ok.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!
