    lg42pq6000 start of red haze?

    the above tv shows abit of pink /red on bright white backgrounds occansionaly
    is this start of red haze like on lg50ps3000 i have looked inside cleaned all dust out no badcaps if so wat do i need to replace on ysus? or wherever if diff

    Is it red on black parts or red on the white part of the scene? If it's on the white I'd increase Vs by up to 10V (increase it slowly until haze disappears then add 1V)

        its red on white & only very occasionally so cant do pic only noticed 3 times yesterday with 12hrs on was bright white from explosion on films or should i just wait n see if gets worse?

          No, you should adjust it before it gets worse, that sounds like low Vsus.

            i did this today & vs was on 197 turned up slowly to 207 & back down & up again is now on 207 no difference do u think panel is dying ?

              Was that measured under load, with TV displaying full white? (You can hook up a laptop/computer to the TV then use MS Paint to draw different colours in full screen)

                i did that today as u surgested with paint was still 207v last pic is where i measurin volts on wire into board from ps & adjustin on ps 2nd from last pic hopefully u can see wat i mean in pics yellow shows prob best

                  Ok, I'd set Vs to 202V
                  Increase Vzbias by 10V.
                  Increase -Vy by 10V (make it 10V more negative)

                  Any difference?

                    did that today & edges of screen look sharper however i get 2 bits in middle of screen with red /pink pixels if i put on sport or game setting for picture this is reduced alot but are still there on some programmes countdown didnt notice at all

                        Try fiddling with the SET-UP and SET-DN controls. I'd start with the SET-DN control. Record original positions with a marker pen or camera photo.

                        When I had a 42PQ3000 in for repair, I thought the picture was rubbish when I fired it up... Too dim, and black level too damn high. One of the worst plasmas I've seen - a real shame to be honest!

                          did that today & didnt really gain much so i adjusted vzbias & pink blobs in center have gone but picture is abit sparkly alot lot better than at start but sharpness has gone
