Hello guys! I was given an RCA 32LA30RQ, this TV will work fine for a few minutes then the top half of the screen freezes like if it was in "pause", you can see the bottom half moving and sound is ok, no color problems either just this weird problem. Any ideas?

could you post a picture of the inside of the tv where we can see the boards. I've seen tab bonding cause this sort of behavior. Be careful working inside the tv. -

You can also go to radio shack and buy some component cooler and spray inside the front bezel so that the outer most edges of the panel are cooled. If the picture unfreezes then you probably have a tab bonding failure.Comment
