    Panasonic Inverter Transformer

I've pretty much diagnosed that I have a shorted turn output in a dual coil inverter transformer. (See post: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=41593) Panasonic 32 inch LCD.
The transformer has a code on it of A995 followed by four alpha-numeric code that seems to change when I look at spare boards on the net. I assume these suffix digits are batch codes or something similar.
Try as I might I can't locate these transformers on the net. Can anyone provide advice/guidance?
Similarly, I was wondering how specific these transformers are to the model of TV? Would a double output tranny that was used for a similar sized panel do the job?
(The cost of landing into Australia a second-hand power supply which incorporates the inverters makes it an uneconomical repair, but as always I'm loathe to junk a set that I know I could probably get going if I can get the CCFLs to stay on!)

        Re: Panasonic Inverter Transformer

Just to complete the story of this repair, I did find a supplier of the inverter transformer in China who wanted about $100 for the part. Obviously I terminated that conversation. So I bit the bullet and got a complete second-hand power supply imported from USA via Flea-bay. Of course all works fine now and it has become one of our main TVs in the house.
I've kept the U/S board for parts, so if anyone needs this inverter transformer in their repair I have one.

            Sony KDL-46BX450 Inverter Troubleshoot Logic
            by caseyjay_48
I am currently on a troubleshoot of 46” Sony KDL-46BX450 tv. I came back from Washington to Texas on medical emergency and had to leave all my tools up there. All I have is a couple of screwdrivers and a dvm. I wish to ask the community a troubleshooting question. Please forgive stupid questions as meds I am taking produce brain fog.
I have well maintained Sony KDL-46BX450. It went black one day. After turn-on, I get solid green light and Sony logo in screen center for about 1-2 seconds, then black. No blinking LEDs, no hissing. Flashlight test shows screen characters dimly viewable,...

is it ok to replace a dual output transformer with two single output transformers?
            by amelbye
Hi, some prestory: I was repairing an amplifier - a "Phil Jones Bass". It had some bad capacitors an a faulty power switch. Easy job. However upon putting it back together I screwed up. The connector from the 15V-0V-15V from the transformer is identical to the audio ouput from the preamp board to the poweramp board. I ended up putting +-15VAC into the preamp outputs frying some traces on the circuit board along with the power transformer The transformer is shorted. It blows the fuse immediately even with no load on the secondary.

            Now that's a challenge - luckily...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
            by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing hereπŸ€”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting πŸ˜‚.

            Original Xbox 1.0 PSU: Foxlink FTPS-0002 Rev. B. β€” 12 V low, 5 V high β€” transformer?
            by ohren
            Hello!

I'm looking at an original Xbox PSU: Foxlink ftps-0002 rev. B. The 12 V output is too low, and the 5 V output is too (?) high. Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope but only a DMM for diagnosis.

            Measured voltages with no load:

            After rectifier diodes
            12V: 6.17 V
            5V: 5.67 V

Secondary transformer pins AC measurement (really don't know if this says anything)
            12V: 2-2.5 V
            5V: 1.04 V

I also have another (working) Xbox psu from Delta. The same measures there, in order, being: 10.79,...

Is it possible for transformer substitution?
            by mikey5791
            Hi all,
Got this local made DC power supply (12/14V) given free as the transformer has melted. There is no marking or indication to identify what type or rating of transformer used.
Fyi,. I had a busted autogate mainboard with transformer with marking 13-0-13 . Is this the 13v dc type transformer?
            My questions are
            1. How do i test to see if the transformer is in good working condition?
            2. Can this transformer (marking 13-0-13) be used to replace the melted transformer on the DC power supply?
Hope you guys understand what i was asking. My intention is...
