I have a plasma tv with a pixel storm issue. The PSU, ysus, and zsus boards it are all new. I would take a picture but it doesn't show up well enough to do any good. There is an led light blinking on the control board in a specific rhythm (fault code?). The pixels are on the top and bottom half of the screen. I'm thinking possibly a logic board problem or both buffers? It does this on all the hdmi inputs. I haven't tried the other inputs.

Re: zenith z50pj240 pixel storm
I am having an image retention problem with this television. I read in a thread on this site that image retention can be caused by the z sustain board. The fuse is good on the board. I was wondering if there is a common failure point on these boards that I could be pointed to. All the caps look good with no bulging or leaking. Thanks for any help. -
Re: zenith z50pj240 pixel storm
I have uploaded a video to youtube of the symptoms of the display. Any help is appreciated.

Re: zenith z50pj240 pixel storm
The psu came from shopjimmy, the other boards came from ebay or amazon so yes "new to me" is more appropriate. I made the video public. That was the first video I have every uploaded to youtube so I'm not really familiar with it. The Vbias is set to panel specs, as well as the Vs and Va and Vsus values.Comment

by iaff284Hey all, I have a Z50PJ240 tv with the 50t1 boards in it. I have been having pixel storm issues with it on certain screens. Cartoons and sports are fine but any dark scenes show pixels all around the edges. I had a ghosting problem along with the pixel storm and at the awesome advise of members of this forum I replaced the Z-sus board and the problem went away. I have checked all the voltages and the solder joints around the coils and everything looks good and is within spec. I have checked all the transistors and they all seem good. I am debating on replacing the Y-sus board but thought I would...

by rumi409 Hi,
I'm trying to resurrect a LG OLED C1 TV that has some panel banding. I used the TCON error bypass to get a picture. I was able to update the firmware as well. But when I performed a pixel cleaning to try to get the banding out, it made the image significantly worse. I tried to undo the effects of the pixel cleaning by performing a factory reset and IN_Stop, but that didn't work. Any way to reset pixel cleaning data?...1 Photo -
by cmonkeyTurned on my lovely plasma and after about 30 seconds the screen below showed up. None of the inputs are responsive, just the red light flashes when I push it. Remote doesn't work either. To turn it off I need to unplug it and when I plug it in again it turns back on to this screen.
I only found one reference to this issue with a different model but it didn't look super reliable. Only mentioned a 'main board fault'. The main board for this one is on ebay for $34 so might need to go with that.
Anyone seen this before?

Got it for free on marketplace because it stopped working after a storm.
When I began troubleshooting the power supply, I fried 2 fuses and a mosfet by shorting 2 pins on accident, but I've replaced those components.
The tv had a soundbar connected, which was also killed by the storm. On the tv side I found a transistor shorted on the hdmi 2 (arc) and a lot of capacitors shorted on the main board.
Disconnecting and reconnecting the psu to main board cable, while still being connected to 120 V AC, would wake things up, such as a red light from the optical... -
by ZockeXHeya! I have a Google pixel 6 with some important data on it, and since it's the new Google SOC I'm not really sure if it's possible to solder the storage to a new board.
If anyone has or knows how to get a Boardview of the pixel 6 (not pro) that would help me immensely.
Best regards, Alexander Dorn.-
