    Lg 60px950-ua

I am working on a LG 60PX950-UA That the center white light blinks twice, and shuts off. I have unhooked the Y-SUS Board and powered on and nothing changed. I then unhooked the Z-SUS Board and powered on and got the same result. Anyone else had this issue with a LG60PX like this?

Check for Vs & Va voltage with both Y- and Z-sus connected.

        Tom,

The label on the panel shows the voltage should be VA 60v & VS 203v. The power supply is producing VA 58v & VS 199v. Would that cause it to shut down?

That is fine. Unplug the TV from the mains power and allow it to discharge for at least five (5) minutes. Then connect the Y-sus and Z-sus again and measure Vs and Va voltages again.

Tom, I found your thread advising to unhook the LVDS cable from the control board and installing a jumper wire into the pin holes like this

I tried that and the test screen came up! So do I need a control board or a main board? pictures below of the set I am working on. Thanks again for your help!

Good! You would need a main board.

(I was going to suggest that as a next step )

There is also a "3D converter" board on this set, in between main & control. However from what I've seen it is usually the main board that fails.

Tom, once again, I have to thank you! Do have an address where I could mail you some untaxed adult beverages from the MTNs of NC?

I appreciate the offer. I live in the UK and am personally tee-total, so not sure it would work! You can donate some bux to the service manual site in my signature & to the Badcaps forum if you really like..

Hi, I believe I might have a similar issue with my LG 60PX950 tv. I get no picture and sound when I power on. I added the jumper wire and unplugged the LVDS cable on the control board as shown in the image you provided and my screen goes from black to a grayish white - no cycling test patterns. What was the test screen that you saw and did replacing the main board fix your issue?
