I am working on a LG 60PX950-UA That the center white light blinks twice, and shuts off. I have unhooked the Y-SUS Board and powered on and nothing changed. I then unhooked the Z-SUS Board and powered on and got the same result. Anyone else had this issue with a LG60PX like this?

Re: Lg 60px950-ua
Check for Vs & Va voltage with both Y- and Z-sus connected. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Lg 60px950-ua
Tom,
The label on the panel shows the voltage should be VA 60v & VS 203v. The power supply is producing VA 58v & VS 199v. Would that cause it to shut down?Comment

Re: Lg 60px950-ua
That is fine. Unplug the TV from the mains power and allow it to discharge for at least five (5) minutes. Then connect the Y-sus and Z-sus again and measure Vs and Va voltages again. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Tom, I found your thread advising to unhook the LVDS cable from the control board and installing a jumper wire into the pin holes like this
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attach...7&d=1376575578
I tried that and the test screen came up! So do I need a control board or a main board? pictures below of the set I am working on. Thanks again for your help!Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Lg 60px950-ua
Good! You would need a main board.
(I was going to suggest that as a next step
)
There is also a "3D converter" board on this set, in between main & control. However from what I've seen it is usually the main board that fails. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Tom, once again, I have to thank you!
Do have an address where I could mail you some untaxed adult beverages from the MTNs of NC?

Re: Lg 60px950-ua
Hi, I believe I might have a similar issue with my LG 60PX950 tv. I get no picture and sound when I power on. I added the jumper wire and unplugged the LVDS cable on the control board as shown in the image you provided and my screen goes from black to a grayish white - no cycling test patterns. What was the test screen that you saw and did replacing the main board fix your issue?Tom, I found your thread advising to unhook the LVDS cable from the control board and installing a jumper wire into the pin holes like this

by EvazXHello everyone,
I am working on an ASUS ROG G513QY laptop with RX 6800M dGPU.
Originally, this laptop was completely non-functional. I replaced the motherboard (part number 6050A3254002-MB-Axx), and with the replacement board it started working fine.
For a long time, the dGPU worked perfectly stable. I played several hundred hours on very demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077 without any crashes, instability, or detection issues. Performance was excellent and there were no warning signs of failure.
However, after some time, the replacement motherboard...08-25-2025, 06:09 PM -
Hello,
Purchased a broken Samsung UN39EH5003FXZA (Version CD01) to have fun fixing. When I first acquired it, I did not connect any video signals and only plugged it into the wall. The unit booted and showed the “no signal” window and I could navigate all menus and change sources. I unplugged it, connected my over-the-air antenna to the coax, powered it on, got the unit to scan the HDTV channels, and I think then the TV self-shutdown with the melody. When I powered back up (melody), it would show the channel selected on the OSD and after a couple of seconds, it self-shutdown... -
by alsupoGood afternoom, my HP laptop with board Compal LA-G07JP only starts with battery but with something anormal :
- With only battery startup is normal.
- With only AC adapter same voltages but no EC_ON, no power up.
- Powered off AC adapter charges battery normally.
- With AC adapter charging battery as soon power on is pressed, charge is interrupted and laptop begins to run from battery.
No way to run from AC adapter. Which can be the reason?... -
by abajorI have this machine. It powers up and gets fan spin, will even shut down when I hold the power button.
U1200 gets very hot under thermal camera, the next hottest region is UB000 and L7030. I'm assuming L7030 is warm due to charging.
Do I have a potential dead CPU? or just a dead U1200? Not sure what to check since everything is powered up. -
by MobileXTHello Everyone! I have a Yamaha powered speaker DXR15. The problem was the RED LED Fault indicator is steady on when I power the speaker. I did open the module and I don't see any burnt component. I Downloaded the Schematic but I don't know where to start the diagnostic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also attached the schematic here...
