Picked up this 50" plasma tv today for nowt, but right hand side of the screen has 3 vertical bars about 3" wide 3" apart from each other all the way from top to bottom, first one is all different coloured lines, next ones black with a green line down it and last one (very edge of screen) is just white, is it most likely the tcon card, a bad connection on ribbon to the actuall screen or is it just shot and only worth breaking for parts?

Re: Samsung ps50b451b2w vertical lines on screen
Found the problem, the far right strip of lines are because the actual first vertical screen connection has come away/unglued and pushed back from the bottom circuit board all together (labled 50u1p logic buffer_e), as for the other two rows (multicoloured lines) I'm guessing it's a fault with the same board or the logic board with the lines being in 3" wide strips
Can the logic buffer_e board with the glued screen connections be replace with them being glued or should I just break it for parts as it all works bar the screens lines

9705 seems to be the right number as that other number comes up with a box tape
