    Hi There,

    I have a LG 50PS8000. I am having similar problems with my TV but I do not know how to do the internal pattern test. I know roughly the area i need to use the jumpers at but I am not entirely sure. I have a flickering picture with not a mirror image but more like a double image appearing on the bottom half when it flickers, also some random orangish flickering horizontal lines. I thought it would be the control board issue so i replaced it bought from eBay but the problem stays the exact same. I have attached the picture of the Control board. Can someone advice me how to use the jumper for the test. Also could the replacement control board also be faulty (was not new). Thanks.

        Hi to all,

        I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

        I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

        Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...

        Hi guys I have this tv and in one side of the pannel it shows some line i also cleaned the camble notting, although I found an smd capacitor on the pcb (there's no tcon on this model) but I can't find the same model thanks

        I picked up this TV that the prior owner said - just died.

        Tested the fuse - burnt. A dead capacitor is visible too on the hot side (CP801). Got the replacement power board (cheaply - used). Replaced the board - the TV turned ON!

        Now, about a month later (yesterday) I noticed the left side of the screen was flickering from time to time. That was already happening with the antenna input, not through HDMI.

        Also, some glitchiness with a Fire stick on HDMI3 - I hit an app with quick dark screen in stick, the TV goes - no input. Then I had to choose the stick...
