Bought this thing new many years ago, few weeks ago it just would power on properly.
Was watching it, turned it off for ~30 minutes, when I turned it back on power light changed from red to blue(normal), but no LCD display.
After a bunch of reading seemed like the power supply was the likely culprit.
Removed all the caps from the power supply, ordered replacements, last night put it all back together.
Initially it powered up and displayed the Sceptre logo on the screen but just stayed there.
It didn't go to fuzz or say no signal like it normally would w/o a video input.
Power off/on now just does the same thing, light changes from red to blue but no display.
I measured the connectors on the power supply, and @ the inverters. Seems to be outputting the correct voltage from the pins that are labeled.
Not sure how to proceed, don't want to dump a bunch of money, just hoping to fix it for the kids to use.
Thinking maybe the motherboard took a dump?
