I just ran a test by attaching a small heatsink to the VPM1GMA component. The vertical lines eventually appeared, but after 4 to 5 minutes instead of one.

Since the output voltages of the component are stable, I don't see what else I can test. Cooling it with a freeze spray restores the image to perfect condition.
I could try replacing the VPM1GMA component, but it's impossible to find. Is it compatible with VPM1RT, VPM1R0A, VPMS2RT, or VPMS3RT?

I'm not really surprised by this latest pointless and uninteresting intervention from you. Is there a competition for this type of response ?

no competition surely, but your myopia is disarming, there are no info in these China chips, also the stone knows, i surprise myself when people still asking schematics and so on, you can try one blindly or use your imagination..

          1) not listening all suggestions
          2) evidence of no info > try lottery and get one chip
          3) put tv aside a wait a spare board..

I'm sorry, I just realized I should have said thank you Mr. Know-It-All.
I remain interested in information for my problem, even from people less expert than Mr. Davi.p :-)

You may have a problem with one of the source COFs or caps on the scalar boards that is drawing to much current.See if you can give them a quick a look with your thermal camera.By the way what kind of panel is the TV using.

I'm not sure what you mean by kind of panel.
I checked the caps and none of them are overheating. COFs have roughly the same temperature, around 60 degrees Celsius.

I mean the manufacturer of the lcd panel.

Hi since many Samsung mainboard are compatible to other models i suggest to call Samsung support about the VPMS chipset to find out a compatible one

Colorful LCD Vertical Lines on Samsung ue55es8090
                        by Falki
Hello there, ive recently found an older 55inch Samsung SmartTV.
Sadly it has vertical lines at the left and one line in the middle-right.

I have already tested out the connections and have looked at the soldered ribbons of the LCD panel to see if some contacts got loose by pushing them a bit but with no success.
I have factory resetted the TV as well but also with no luck.

I am afraid that it is indeed a LCD Panel issue but there are NO scratches or any impact-marks..

A similar issue has been posted as well but also with no actual response ...

Connecting an LVDS/eDP cable into a live motherboard
                        by ResoluteHawk
Could anyone explain the reasoning behind why connecting an LVDS or eDP cable into a laptop motherboard, with the battery still connected, kills the CPU/PCH/SuperIO/GPU?

Today I had a customer with a Lenovo Legion 5 that I diagnosed as a dead iGPU inside their Ryzen 5900HX. They told me that they connected their screen to the motherboard without first disconnecting the battery.

I want to understand the nitty gritty behind why it kills components if power is not disconnected first.

Samsung un82ru88000f - Boot loop sort of but can correct with taping of LVDS ribbon
                        by NolesFan
Hello all... TV started boot looping. Opened the back panel and tried to isolate the problem. Just PSB no boot loop. PSB and MB no boot loop. Plug in the LVDS from panel to MB and boot looping starts up. It doesnt matter of order that I plug the LVDS ribbons back in, only 1 and no boot loop but as soon as 2nd one plugs in boot looping. I then noticed a flicker on the screen when I was closing the clip on the harness to the LVDS. Shut the lights off so I can see better, and I noticed as i slowly close it, I will get a picture, but as soon as it clips in, I lose picture and booting happens. So I...

                        Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
                        by jeyoung12
                        Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
