Tv powers on and "no signal" is displayed on screen. When you press menu it comes up but everything is in extremely slow motion. Checked all tab bonds at the bottom of screen all have good connection and I applied pressure to them to double check, which created no change. I then disconnected each 1 of 2 ribbons into t-con board 1 by one and then powered on. As I did this backlit still lit but just black screen no menu or no signal symbol nothing will display. But one thing I noticed is that there was a buzzing noise when both ribbons were connected to t-con like they should be. As I disconnected one or the other of the ribbons but left one plugged in and powered on the buzzing stopped? So could it be t-con board failed causing slow image? Or failed panel?

T-con board. The voltage required to turn the panel OFF is missing. The panel cannot cause this defect.Originally posted by PeteS in CARemember that by the time consequences of a short-sighted decision are experienced, the idiot who made the bad decision may have already been promoted or moved on to a better job at another company.

by jason123Hello all. 3 years back, with your help, I replaced the LEDs on this TV. It's been working great. Yesterday, I turned it on (garage TV), and it has blurred horiz / vert lines as you see in photos. Definitely no physical hit or damage. Top 1/6th of the screen is perfect. Could it be main / TCON board? No tabs to cut on this model. Thank you...

by x_orange90_xJust bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

Hitachi 32HAE2351 Vestel 17MB171 - Rotate Image
Mainboard: VESTEL 17MB171 Chassis: VES315WNGB - 2D - N52
The TV was stuck on the logo and I couldn't access the update menu.
I couldn't find the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 and updated it with the Toshiba 32WA2063DG - Vestel 17MB171 firmware.
The image result was good, but the image is inverted.
The image rotation/mirror function doesn't exist in the Menu Server. I can't correct the image.
Do you have the firmware for the Hitachi 32HAE2351 - Vestel 17MB171 motherboard or a solution to rotate the image in... -
by advantThis thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.
I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match... - Loading...
