ID:	3761194 Hello, I have a TCL 50P610 that won't turn on. The white indicator light stays on, but when I press the power button, nothing happens.
I have all the voltages except in the circled area; the voltages crossed out are missing.
Do you happen to have the dump for the SPI EN25Q32C and the eMMC THGBMNG5D1LBAIL?

That looks like t-con part of main board, it should have any voltages if tv is in standby if I'm correct.

    https://www.tcl.com/eu/en/support/model-mobile/65ap610

Try downloading sofware, unzip it, change name to update.bin and copy it to root. Insert into usb, hold power button while plugging tv in and if MB is ok it should start sw update.

Yes, this is most likely the T-CON area. In standby mode, there should be no supply voltage to the panel. They appear in operating mode, and if they are not present, then it may be due to a faulty panel. If there is a low or short circuit in the panel or on the buffer boards, then the T-CON blocks the voltage to the panel. Disconnect one cable to the panel and check again.

I disconnected the cables one by one from the board and checked the voltages, but nothing changed. However, there is a BY25D80AS chip on one of the display panel boards; could the problem be related to the software?

That's the first thing I tried, but it won't start.

Well, if there is no supply voltage (3.3v) on it, then how can there be a problem in it (software)?

One chip is a DC/DC converter (1.0v). The second is a Toshiba eMMC, can't you see it?

it make no sense converter 1V will be bigger like SPI(eeprom,( yes SI they do have this size on Fillips) , however the converter 1.5V are one we do know.. one things to add.. yes we know 50 size 4K screen are rubbish, but OS of Smart TV 2.0 as this will be written on eeprom.,

OP confirm the name.. and take look of underside of boards... because this is 3 Layers sandwich boards

You need to know that the SoC core power supply is 0.9-1.0v. And 1.5v is the power supply for DDR RAM.

LG 82UN8570AUD ~ TCON or PANEL?
                          by kca
                          Hello all ~

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

Alienware Area-51 R2 Boot Loop issue.
                          by abajor
I have the above mentioned Alien Ware A51 R2, currently it randomly will boot into the OS but more often than not it boot loops, I'm assuming there's an issue with power regulation somewhere.
It comes with Dual 180 Watt Dell PSU, which is ironic since the thing claims it requires 420 watts in the bios screen.

To rule out the power bricks I've attempted to power up the Laptop with a 330W and 240W Dell PSU at the same time, it still has the same boot loop issue so the problem is definitely the laptop.

Right now I'm trying to dig through the PDF schematics and Board...

                          by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

Xiaomi router freezes at boot after re-capping
                          by hinisa
I'm using Xiaomi Router 4A gigabit edition as wireless repeater. It worked fine for 2 years or so, but last week, wireless started to disappear.

When I unplug/replug the power, it was working fine for a day/half a day or so until it freezes again.

After testing with different power supply adapters and concluding it wasn't the issue I finally opened the case and this was the situation:

Anyway I proceed to clean up the mess and replace all caps but unfortunately it made the situation worse. Now router can't even boot, either it freezes during...
