Another very important that you must do (I will not apply the power to the TV any more at this point) are those brown glues, I can see them turned dark brown an conducting especially on the high voltage blue disc cap:

You must remove them and inspect the leads of the components to make sure they are not eaten away by the glue, if you do not remove the glue this will happen:

I don't know why but, when I click on a pic link, it takes me back to the 1st page of the post.

How the hell do I remove the glue, it's stuck on there like....glue.

Only took 2 hours to remove the glue...what fun!

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to make a difference.

"Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to make a difference." You still have to replace the bad cap, at least one that we can see. Again, bad caps can look normal.

Yes, I was hoping just removing the glue would do it...that glue was everywhere.
