Bought a bricked 15" generic LCD TV and need firmware

Hi, folks. Thanks for all the work on this site. I am looking for help with a TV. I have a secondhand 15" LCD TV that won't turn on. The board is listed as CV3553M_B24_10 and the panel is a MG1561B01-1. I just want to use it as a portable gamer display and maybe a media player. The branding is "Emerson ETC-1500N" but I know it is a generic Chinese TV. Searching on the internet for compatible files turns up zilch and the ai bots aren't much help. Can someone please help me locate the fw for this TV?

Why do you think it's a firmware issue? I can't find anything using the motherboard number. Did you type the motherboard model correctly? Can I see a photo of the motherboard and see what processor it has?

Read your native dump with a spi flash programmer and post this dump here, I will check it and try to fix anything.

Can't read the dump or just don't have a programmer?

Well I believe the guy I got it from was trying to put firmware on it and bricked it. It is one of those clear TVs that are restricted from the factory. He was trying to restore the media playback functionality and apparently didn't pick the right file. (I don't have access to it, and I don't have a programmer.) The previous owner was no help, so I turned to the web. My initial google searches and AI convos turned up:

          1. It is not in fact an Emerson tv at all. It is common now for these clear tvs to be manufactured with Chinese parts and branded for resell in the US.
          2. I identified the board and panel based on serial numbers. CV3553M made by CVT, and MG1561 panel.
          3. AI tells me that firmware is based on the board and the panel, and I should find a file following that naming convention (i.e. CV3553M_1366x768.bin)
          4. AI even told me to come to this specific site to find a file that matches the pattern and "it knows will work" but would not give me a direct link.
          5. All my searches on this site for the file turn up nothing, so I am thinking the AI is going off of links that have been removed since it was trained.

If anyone can help, I do appreciate it.

            Hello to everyone ,

Docker Type-C Gen 2 - Model 40AS. Was given to me by a friend for free ,but with the problem that you cannot use the video output ports.

Anker SoundCore 2 Bluetooth Speaker Turns Off After a Few Seconds (Possibly Firmware Issue?)
            by zklgfs
            Hi,

I have an Anker SoundCore 2 (A3105) that I saved from the trash (well, I guess there's a reason why it was supposed to go into the trash...). The problem is that it always turns off after a few seconds (sometimes it stays on a bit longer, between 30 and 60 seconds, but it still turns off). The power light turns on and the bluetooth light starts blinking, but both abruptly turn off again. The "turn off sound" is still played after the lights turn off. Sometimes, it also loops the on-off cycle several times without me pressing any buttons. If I connect an AUX cable, music...

            Ubiquiti firmware help. US-8-150W POE
            by gurj1979
            Hi guys.

I've got a Ubiquiti US-8-150W POE switch which has issues with updating the firmware.
Turned out to be a bad EEPROM chip. It would read the firmware and work as normal, but failed to write new firmware to it.

So I took off the chip and read on EEPROM and saved it. Wrote to old chip and failed to write
Got New chip and writes good.

            THE PROBLEM...
It fails to fully load the firmware, POE lights fail to work during g firmware test during load. I'm suspecting bad EEPROM Read.

Does anyone have a Good Firmware I can have?...

            Hi,

The original fault was set not loading completely and reboots. I have downloaded a firmware on usb, tried the upload but midway says incorrect spftware and shuts down. I have blank raster now.
Anyone has experience on this mainboard?

In the download there are other apart from CtvUpgrade.bin

            AOC AG493UCX 49-inch monitor - Firmware request
            by wattage
            Hello Badcaps Community,

I purchased a preowned AOC monitor that is not working and out of warranty. It was sold as not working. I am looking for guidance on self-repair. In particular, I am after the firmware for the monitor. At the end, I have included monitor model information and links to pics and vids of the issue.

The problem is that it will not display a picture on any of its inputs. And the on-screen menu does not appear. The power button works properly. It powers on with the remote as well. But the on-screen menu does not appear, even when not connected to any...
