Samsung UA50TU8000W no picture and no sound

Hello All

have seen posts on this model in here but my problem sounded different so thought i would create a thread

TV will not turn on
There is no standby light
When I press ON button for remote the red standby light does flash but no picture and no sound
From the back of the TV I can see the red light on the back of the mother board
Holding torch to the screen I cannot see a picture

I removed the back cover
Observing the boards I cannot see any damage
I disconnected the main board from the power supply
the back lights came on and stayed on

i reconnected the mainboard to the PSU
the i disconnected the buffer boards from the main board
the back lights came on and stayed on

so i think the problem is downstream from the main board
in the buffer boards or in the screen

i will try to isolate further
will try to share some photos

Hello All

This one was solved
Added sticky tape to the buffer board U shaped flex cable.
Covered about 6 tracks

TV is now working fine
Screen looks good
Cannot see any lines

Hello, this is my survey...
1) How do you clean the screen surface?
2) Do you have often kitchen smells or do you smoke inside house? (this have to do with the tv flat cables, i'm not out of head)
