Sony kv27fs120. Standby light blinking 2 times.

I recently replaced a 18k resistor in the abl circuit of a sony kv27sf120 because of no screen light.The television worked well for the day,and on the following morning did not startup but displayed 2 blinks.I have checked the
Fbt,hot and R595 a 470k resistor.Can anyone offer help with this problem?

I would replace the r595 470k. Common and may check okay in circuit.

Is the Chassis No. BA-5D??
I am not seeing any 18Kohm resistors in the ABL cct. ABL pin 9 on the F/back Trans. What is the R-label?
I would also check diode D580-1SS133T and transistor Q530-2SA 10910.

• H.OUT (Q502) is shorted. (A Board)
• IC702 is shorted. (C Board)
• Power does not come on.
• Load on power line shorted.

ABL is actually Pin 11 on the FBT and not Pin 9 and Q532-2SA 10910 not Q530.
OCP-Over Current Protect.

The chassis is #BA6-S and the resistor is R584.

Unable to power ON?
Before plugin to 120Vac, Verify Q505-Hor Out Trans is good.
Verify all electrolytic capacitors on Pwr Bd HOT and COLD sides test within range. Replace as required.
On plugin to 120Vac, Relay RY 600 'click' to close position and 120Vac
is applied to Bridge Rectifier D600 and red LED on front panel flash X times
and repeat.
(If PWR ON button is pressed, Relay RY600 'click' to open position and
red LED on front panel go off.)
Verify 125Vac fed to Pwr Transformer T602 and 5Vdc StdBy Pwr generated (9.45Vdc; Good since R600 clicks and LED flashes.)
Verify 125Vac is fed to D605-Bridge Rect and 175Vdc is produced.
Verify 175Vdc is fed to Chopper Transformer T603 Primary.
Verify Q600 and Q601 is getting Gate drive.
Test Q600 and Q601, all lo-Ohm fusible resistors and hi-kOhm resistors in the PWR SUP cct.
Verify 175Vdc fed to PWM Converter IC600-Pin 18
No voltage generated to feed Converter FET Q600-Gate from Pin 16
No voltage generated to feed Protect FET Q601-Gate from Pin 12
PWM Converter IC600-MCZ3001D--Defective.

I have replaced R595 because when I checked it out of circuit the value was
about 474k.The television is working again.Thank you very much.

I would replace the MCZ chip--they ALWAYS went bad--and usually INTERMITTENT too...

I am aware that the MCZ chip fails some times,but usually when this chip fails
the standby light blinks 4 times.
