Pansonic plasma TV diagnosis & repair

I am helping a friend fix his Panasonic TH-42PV8AZ plasma tv. I have basic electronic knowledge but have a multimeter, soldering iron, heat gun etc.

    Problem Symptoms:
When the TV is turned on it flashes the red light 12 times repetitively.

According to panasonic blick codes this suggests:
    Sound SOS H Board

I've done some research which suggests it could be anything from:
    A short to ground
    bad speakers
    Bad logic board (TNPH0713)
Bad power board (LSEP1260 OR LSJB1260)

I've tried looking for physical signs of burnt components / bad capacitors,
checked fuses / diodes / connectors, looking for a pinout for the power board to test outputs however unable to find one.

Can anyone please offer some help with diagnosing which board/component is at fault so that I can either order a replacement part or possibly fix it? or provide pinouts diagram etc for the power board etc so i can test these.

    Thanks!!!

Sound SOS, checkpoints are P and A boards.

"12 Blinks SOS: On the A board, transistor Q2301 monitors the Sound 15V line and the operation of the audio power amplifier IC2301. If the audio output circuit, IC2301, or the 15V lines develops a short to ground, transistor Q2301 goes into conduction and applies a high to pin 70 of the MPU, IC1100, triggering a SOS condition. The power LED blinks 12 times.
A short circuit in the sound P15V normally shuts the TV down and the power LED blinks 2 times. It can also cause the TV to shutdown and make the power LED blink 12 times."

Thanks, appreciate it. I will study the service manual attempt to diagnose which... Any further help would be great, though i'm guessing to test 15v line and ic2301, and if both ok assume audio output circuit and replace A board?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
              • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
              • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

              by Cooperr
I picked up this TV from Facebook Marketplace, original owner described it as "screen went black after a pop" and I hoped to see an obvious fuse or cap to replace. Doesn't seem to be the case, but my experience and electrical knowledge are kind of limited for this.

The power board (BN44-00445A, see attached) turns on and Vs and Va seem to momentarily have power, then they steadily drain to zero over a minute or two as if they're only getting power from capacitors. I've been measuring Vs and Va from the test pads, with and without the other boards connected to the power board...

Plasma Samsung PS-50C96HD Main board BN94-01223C switches off supply after few seconds
              by alltvrepairs
              Hi,
I have this almost brand new Plasma was well stored. I would like to repair it for a friend of mine.

I have noticed that it works for few seconds then switches Off the Power_ On signal. Have disconnected boards and left maion board and power supply and still the same. The power supply with PS_ON and VA signals On stays on so it is not a problem in the power supply.
Any one met this problem in the past?...
