lines on LG 50PG3000

Hi guys purchased a tv from someone and it had a good few bulging caps so i replaced and tv started up no problem. However there is a few lines running down the screen on the left hand side and just one line on the right side. Can this be fixed ?

Unfortunately it is a reasonably common problem on these models and is due to a bad plasma panel. It is not fixable. That being said, I had no difficulty selling a 42PG3000 on with a similar fault. I got about 30% less than normal, but still was able to make a profit, so not so bad in the end.

Hmm :/ that is pretty bad.

Hi,

First, this is my first post on this forum...
I have exactly the same problem as Mikeyboy2007.
After repairing the PSU for capacitors (C232, C233, C234, C235, C236 & C241); the tv starts without problem but I have 5 vertical lines on the full height of the image.
I used a software (http://www.webalice.it/fulvio.cornetta/) to generate signals for tv and we can see that the lines do not appear if the image is green or red (see photos ).
Is this problem also a faulty plasma screen?
